“There is no better way to see the world than on a bike.” So says MP, a lifelong Michigan cyclist who has enjoyed the sport in various forms, from cyclocross and mountain bike racing to gravel riding and touring. The retired optometrist — she’s not above wearing safety goggles around bungee cords — also loves cooking and birding, and has done time as a WomanTours SAG volunteer. “The scientist in me loves observing interpersonal dynamics to see what I can do to make it a better experience for the group.”
