If you have ever dreamed of taking part in a cross-country bike tour but did not know what to expect, then it’s time to check in with some of our riders on the Cross-Country: Northern Tier – Western Half.
These 24 women began their 2,000-mile journey in Anacortes, WA on June 25, 2026 and will conclude in Fargo, ND on Aug. 2, 2026. In 2027, many of them will pick up the route again in Fargo and cycle all the way to Bar Harbor, ME as part of the Cross-Country: Northern Tier – Eastern Half.

Nan W. of Bradenton, FL is chronicling her time on the road with photos and updates via her Facebook page. She is also raising money for her favorite charity, Albert’s Dog Lounge, a foster-based organization devoted to senior, special needs and hospice dogs.
